ePoch is a simple program that calculates the number of days between two dates or the date that is a specified number of days from another date.

A. USERS MANUAL

The ePoch application can handle three different types of date calculations:

Determine 'End Date' based on 'Start Date' and '# of Days'
Determine '# of Days' based on 'Start Date' and 'End Date'
Determine 'Start Date' based on 'End Date' and '# of Days'

Click on the 'Start Date' and/or 'End Date' label to select the date.

B. How To Install

Start the InstallApp program found in the Palm Desktop folder on your hard-drive.
Click Select and then navigate to the ePoch folder.
Select ePoch.prc and click OK.
Click Install...
Put your Palm device in the cradle and press the HotSync button.
After the synchronization completes, ePoch will be installed on your device and you can start the program by clicking the new ePoch icon on your device.

C. FUTURE WORK

Make sure the ePoch app compiles with GCC.
Define a 'Date' class in C++ to allow for future code reuse.
Implement preferences to allow the application to handle different date formats, to remember the last calculation performed, and to automatically set the 'Start Date' to the current day.
The ePoch application should also be able to "jump" to the newly calculated date in the built-in Date Book app.
